Pet photos with Santa and other events
by Pets
Several Sonoma County organizations have been hosting pet photos with Santa events the past several weeks. Instead of just sending those photos to friends and family, how about sending them to us!!
Submit the photo to Sonoma Pets and not only will you be able to show off your cute pet, but bragging rights if you win. Also don’t forget to submit your photos to our gallery anytime.
While we dote on our pets, there are hundreds of pets in Sonoma County shelters still waiting for a home for not just the holidays, but forever.
Local shelters are putting out the donation boxes. Here are a few ways to give:
While shopping around Sonoma this holiday season look for the Pets Lifeline Secret Santa Stocking displays. Inside each stocking is the name of an item from a shelter animal’s holiday wish list. Purchase the item and leave it at the counter or bring it to the shelter directly. Find them at:
* Altimira Vet Hospital
* Arroyo Vet Hospital
* Brocco’s Old Barn
* Bianchi Salon
* Sonoma Dog Camp
* Sonoma Pet Center
* Sonoma Veterinary Clinic
* The Granary
* Three Dog Bakery
The Sonoma Humane Society is soliciting donations through their program, “Give a Gift to Someone You Love.”
What’s the perfect gift for the person who has everything? The gift of saving lives!
For many of us the holidays can be stressful finding that perfect gift. Some families choose to give the gift of hope by designating a charity to donate to. It’s a wonderful way to share the gift of love with an organization in need (like this one). The best part is you can donate in someone’s name, and the Sonoma Humane Society will take care of the rest by sending a holiday card & paper ornament acknowledging your special gift.
