It’s time for the “Pet(s) of the Week” and this time the focus is on bonded pairs.
It’s not uncommon for pets who have lived together, to be surrendered together. Most rescues and shelters will try their very best to have the bonded pairs go home together. Most people want to adopt one animal, but there are a lot of benefits to adopting two.
Cats adore their buddies and certainly, if one is thinking of ever having two cats, getting two that are already bonded helps you avoid the conflict that can sometime arise when unknown cats compete for territory.

Chopper and Nacho are available at the Petaluma Animal Shelter.
Chopper and Nacho are six and seven year old Chihuahuas. They have lived together peacefully and would very much like to go home together.

Jimmy and Joey are a bonded rabbit pair available through Northstate Rescue of Santa Rosa.
These two Silver Marten rabbits were found living in a junkyard and rescued by Northstar Rescue of Santa Rosa, a rescue that specializes in small companion animals.
