Fostering a litter of puppies right now…chihuahua mixes and they are having a hard time with the heat. I mean…they’re chihuahuas!
It’s a heads up…for me. Placed some ice blocks so they could move closer to them if they needed the relief.
I was tempted to take the big dogs to the Russian River today but even thought that should wait until the evening.
I think dogs and cats are smarter than humans. Heck, I even noticed my chickens prefer to just lay low during the afternoon hours. You don’t see them out trying to work in the hot sun!
It’s against the law to leave your dog in the car…gads…
