In fact, a new AP Petside Poll indicates almost half (45%) of pet owners carry pictures of their pets with them.
The poll found dog owners more likely to post their pet than do cat owners, but they are still represented. The poll also found women were more likely to post pets than men.
This struck home recently when I was in a large field with a group class recently and came across a cell phone that had been dropped. Flipping it open there was a picture of a dog on the wallpaper. The dog looked pretty familiar and a reunion with the phone’s owner was as easy as matching the dog and following the leash up to the cell owner.
The desktop wallpaper on the computer is another great place to put pet photos. Of course, I am a pet nerd so one photo isn’t enough. I have a slide show of pets come up when the computer rests.
So go ahead, show off you pets. You have a lot of proud company.
