Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has before him, legislation that would impose a ban on landlords being able to demand that tenant’s cats be declawed and dogs debarked, as a condition of renting.

My dogs don’t tell me how I could have handled a situation better, how I need to lose a few and how that outfit I wore just was “so-90s.” They just want to go to the beach. I like that.

There was many a night when a cat would decide the best place to sit was between the book I was reading and my face. Cat rears are cute, but they do not carry intriguing plots.

I am so used to seeing such a wide variety of canines that the only thing that still takes me aback, is a fully intact, mature, muscled un-neutered male dog. I mean I can see the “boys.”

Rain….humans find it cleansing. Dogs find it akin to acid. That’s the only reason I can find why normally stalwart, tough dogs melt at the prospect of doing their business when it’s raining.

We had to make sure we parked near grass so the dogs could get out to potty without burning the pads of their feet.

You must take it slowly over Mt. St. Helena, which we did, in order to avoid crashes, barfing teens and barfing dogs. All survived.
